Operating System Recommendations

Operating system requirements & recommendations can sometimes require graphic enhancement drivers & proprietary frameworks. Both the Unicversal Time Token Protocol (UTTP) as well as UniversalTimeLink.com  has no such requirements and will continue to remain independent of these.

Mobile Version Operating Systems
UniversalTimeLink.com has a mobile-friendly version for most devices, including Apple, Android and Microsoft.

Browser & Operating System Compatibility
UniversalTimeLink.com requires Microsoft IE11+ browser or equivalent to load, display & function properly.
UTTP requires windows 7+ or equivalent vintage across all mobile or desktop operating systems.

Update Recommendation
UTTP relies on up-to-date browser library information for daylight-savings adjustments & other calculations. It is therefore highly recommended that you maintain both your browser & your operating system updates at regular intervals.

World Time Calendar Limitations
Sometimes a government will decide to change its time zone or daylight savings schedule on a short term basis with little notice. UTTP cannot always allow for ‘localized’ or sudden time zone changes, though we will manually adjust for that change as soon as possible. 

Time Zone Awareness
UTTP is a time protocol that discovers the time zone of your device and then uses that time zone information for all Timulation. It is recommended that you keep this in mind when traveling between time zones. The time zone of your device is displayed in the time zone selector box of the Timulator. The time zone of your device is the time zone that the Enhanced Time Zone Intelligence (ETZI) agent thinks you are in. UTTP is serious about your privacy & does not use GEO-location, IP-follow technology, cookies or any logs that could identify you.

Quality of UTTP Time
Note that even though UTTP acquires your local time zone from your device, it authoritatively supplies the time for your time zone. Hence, the local time displayed on the upper black bar of UTTP.com should always be correct, even if your local computer time is not.
